"I'm In Trouble" was the first official release by the Replacements. The same version of the song was also featured on their debut album SORRY MA, FORGOT TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH released about three weeks later.
The b-side was a unique track not featured on the album and performed solo by Paul Westerberg without the participation of the rest of the band. The track was first included on album in the UK-only vinyl release of BOINK!! (1986) and then on the CD re-release of SORRY MA, FORGOT TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH (2008).
According to Twin/Tone Records, the 7" sold 8,583 copies
